If you're looking for somewhere very clean, low-priced and worry-free to come back to while you're spending the day exploring San Diego, this is perfect. Located only three blocks from Old Town restaurants and only four blocks from the train/trolley/buses, the location couldn't be better. The staff was extremely nice and helpful - providing a pack-n-play for our toddler, directions to restaurants and suggestions on things to do. The continental breakfast was nice, wireless Internet is free and the pool/hot tub is small yet sufficient. No complaints. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every day.

The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was great (love the waffle maker!). Staff was friendly, water was hot, rate was excellent. I don't have a bad thing to say about the hotel. It's certainly not the lap of luxury, but I was staying for less than 12 hours so I didn't need luxury. My room overlooked Highway 5, so although convenient, not charming in any way. I will definitely stay again if I'm traveling through.

NO PARKING

THE PARKING SPACES IN THIS HOTEL WERE VERY SMALL. THE ONLY CARS THAT FIT ARE SMALL CARS. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH PARKING FOR ALL THE GUEST SO I HAD TO PARK MY CAR OUTSIDE AROUND THE CORNER. I REALLY DIDN'T FEEL THAT MY CAR WAS SAFE BECAUSE IT WAS IN THE STREET.
