Family traveled to area to visit potential Universities. We arrived very late and were greated by a very helpful staff member who had everything ready for us. Our room was very clean and in good condition. The next morning we had a fantastic breakfast and the staff in charge was very informative, organized and friendly. She kept the service area stocked and clean. We would recommend to all travelers. Great experience!

I've stayed at this location on two separate occasions for business reasons. The staff is friendly, the coffee at breakfast is fresh and hot, and the shower stayed hot. Its good place to lay your head down for a night a two if you are just passing through or are in the area on business (like me). I will stay here again when my job requires me to be in the area.

I chose this hotel because of its pet friendly policy. When I arrived and told them I had dog, the front desk person seemed perturbed because she then had to reassign me to a pet friendly room. There was no where in the online registration to note that I had a pet. The pet friendly room smelled like it had been a kennel to a heard of buffalo. The bathroom, sheets, etc., were quite clean, but the odor was terrible. Otherwise it was a nice property, and I imagine had I not had the dog, the expereince would have been much more pleasant.

I stayed here Memorial Weekend while traveling to NC I stopped going and on my return. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They gave a detail map of all the restaurants/shopping malls in the area or a short drive, if you can follow directions. You'd be surprised what you can find out if you take the time to ask. The room was extremely large with excellent bedding and very nice towels. There were plenty of pillows on the bed. Going back for the 4th of July weekend also. This was my 3rd time at a Laquinta Hotel. I find the chain great for the price. I feel very comfortable during my stay. Save lots of money to spend on other things while traveling. I only need the room to shower/sleep in.
