La Quinta in SA was great!! Considering it was spring break weekend, the only thing I would complain about is that they ran out of roll away beds and the long lines for check in. But that is to be expected since it was a busy weekend. Awsome job!!

The room was stylish and functional with a refrigerator and microwave. Beds were comfortable and smelled fresh. Breakfast was an abundant buffet of scrambled eggs, cereal, waffles, muffins, juice and more. Everyone in the family found something they liked. The workout room was well equipped, although a little off the beaten path. My sons and I took advantage of the treadmills. We walked to the Alamo, the Riverwalk and shopped the mall that was across the street. We really liked this hotel and were planning on visiting this La Quinta the next time we were in San Antonio. Now - I love this hotel. Let me explain - as we packed and loaded up the car, we forgot to check all the drawers and inadvertently left our laptop. We didn't realize this until we were 8 hours away. We called and the front desk actually helped us track it down and get it back. They were truly amazing.

My experience with the LaQuinta Inn and Suites San Antonio Convention Center was horrible. The valet parkers and management treated us like we were common thugs. I was in town for my college commencement ceromony. The manager on duty was very rude and unprofessional, as well as not helpful. I needed to find nearby store that sold children shoes and the manager barely wanted to provide assistance. The nearby Macy's does not carry children shoes. PLUS, as a guest at the hotel you have to pay additional for parking (event parking as LaQuinta Inn and Suites calls it)... this is on top of paying for your room rate. I paid $* a day. This hotel ruined my entire graduation weekend. I would NEVER stay at a LaQuinta Inn and Suites again.

We visited San Antonio in June, the weather was OK, and we enjoyed our stay in La Quinta Inn and Suites. It's very close to the Downtown by walk. If you are coming with the car, it very accessible, and its like 15min from the airport. The parking was a little bit expensive (No discount for a week stay), you have parking places around the La Quinta Inn and Suites, but they are not 24h opened. We had breakfast included, and at the beginning it was OK, but after few days it get boring eating always the same. Personnel is very friendly.
