Greeted by a friendly front desk person but lobby & bistro smelled of the chlorine from the pool. Room was acceptable but no flat panel tv's as stated in the hotel description, instead we have old tube tv's loosing their brightness so we could hardly view the movie we purchased. Acceptable cleaning daily although they never replenished the bottled water after we drank the two that were provided in the room on day one and with a 5 day stay, getting water each day would have been appreciated since it is supposed to be complimentary. Heater is loud and difficult to control. Bathroom is small but functional. Overall I'd give the say a 3.5 out of 5, would stay again but disappointed that the amenities did not match the promises made in the hotel description when booking.

The dream began when Travelocity offered this place at a great price - it was somewhat last minute! The check in and out were a snap. The lobby was simply decorated and very nice. The staff behind the staff were very pleasant and very helpful - they clearly informed me of my shopping and dining options in the general area. The room was perfect. Nice seating area to relax and watch some TV and lie on the couch to read just like at home. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The bathroom was fine - great Aveda products. A crack in the sink and slight carpet stains were the only physical flaws to be found throughout the facility. I took the free shuttle to and from Southdale Mall a few minutes away and later to the airport - the very pleasant drivers were appreciative of a small tip for the ride. I am glad I decided to eat dinner in the small lobby restaurant. The menu is the same as the room service, and had a nice selection. They were understaffed, but incredibly gracious and accommodating - the fellow working the bar, waiting on a small group of patrons, and delivering room service had reason to grouse, but maintained a fun and pleasant atmosphere for all of us there. I appreciated the full glass of wine, the fries were great, and the walleye was good. I spent just a few minutes in the medium sized workout room. I was sorry not to have more time there. The coffee machine was perfect in the am - they were sure to have coffee in the lobby when the restaurant wasn't open. I will return.

We stayed at this hotel in Feb. 2011 and it was the best rest I've ever had in a hotel. The beds are the absolute best. I think that's the most important thing so I won't mention that the t.v. sets were small and outdated and the shuttle service was too slow to the Mall and back but other than that it was great. Wished they would have had a hot tub.

We had a good price so we decided to try this hotel. it does not deserve the star rating it has. Staff was nice, but the rooms were outdated and nothing special at all. The pool is small and there is no hot tub. A safe charge is added to each room, each night and you have to request it to be taken off after your stay. Our room was dirty and toilet ran constantly and would not flush consistentlly. Overall there are so many quality hotels in this area, go with a different one.

This was my first visit to Minnesota - I'm a native California girl, and my travel was business based. I was extremely skeptical about staying in this hotel because it isn't a big familiar chain so I didn't know what to expect. Okay, here's the HONEST rundown: shuttle service is EXCELLENT and the drivers are informative and very VERY courteous; hotel staff is very helpful and really nice and hospitable; the hotel lobby is clean and fresh smelling; my suite was perfect (clean, warm when I walked in from the snow, everything I needed was there - hair dryer, coffee and tea, microwave, iron and ironing board, fridge, two tv's, waterfall showerhead, internet, newspaper delivery, complimentary bottled water, HBO, Internet); the king sized bed is super comfy, the bath products are Aveda. The hallways were quiet, and I didn't hear other neighbors or outside noise. I was very satisfied, and I'm not easy to please. The fact that the shuttle service will take you anywhere within a two mile radius could be enough reason to stay at this hotel. I saved on taxi fare just for that service being offered to guests. I will certainly stay there again, and if it happens that I get the job I traveled there for, I'll consider Le Bourget as an extended stay hotel until I can secure a permanent residence. I felt very safe there.
