The Hotel bathroom was the smallest I`ve ever been in. I could barly fit in the diamond shapped shower that had a control that was either freezing cold or scolding hot. The a.c. in the room didn`t cool it down till the next morning when it was not needed. And when I tried to use what they called their business center to print my boarding pass they wanted to charge me 3 dollars on my credit card. When I agreed it then said a 20 dollar fee would be applied and then the amount of time it took would be deducted. It was a total ripp off. After it got up to 6 dollars I had to summon the desk clerk. I shut down the process never receiving my boarding pass. He was nice enough to have the hotel do it. The staff was very nice and the only good thing was the confortable bed.

I felt like I was on an episode of Seinfeld. Complimentary breakfast in the morning is rationed out. I went to get a bagel for me and my wife and the girl that was rationing out the bagel said the policy was one bagel per person. I explained my wife didnt want to come down and I was taking one up for her. She was very rude and told me that is all I was getting and she said that she was representing the hotel. I was insulted by the way she treated me. I cant believe the hotel would hire someone for minimum wage to watch the bagels.

this hotel is in the best location to party in south beach. its pretty clean and cozy and the staff is mostly ok. the owner is always around and willing to help out with anything you request. the breakfast is average and limited, but i almost never get up early enough so no prob. there. i had one problem though, this being a party area, the hotel had organized an electronic music weekend which i thought was great, until... they started the music at 10:00am both sat and sun. After you are out partying in south beach all night long and get to bed at 5-6am, you don't want music blaring in your hotel room window starting at 10am. that's not right. i would definitely book this hotel again but i would make sure they are not having any special events during my projected stay. also the rooftop area was closed during our visit which kinda sucked...

we saw the address and name of hotel "South Beach Villas", but we couldn't find how to get to front desk. It was raining so we walked all around. It is through a different door then right where sign is. Maybe it was our fault? But I thought that was weird, that it wasn't easy to find. The hotel is older, but they make rooms look cute and modern. Decent sized rooms. To be picky it had a weird scent, but we figured b/c it's older. They had a free wine happy hour at bar which was nice. It is in THE best location, one block from ocean drive. WE had a good time, it was fun, and right near everything, but it isn't like a Hilton type hotel meaning it doesn't have that big clean hotel feel. But for the price/location I would do it again!
