When we came into the lobby to check in we could see four people drinking beer in the back office. The staff came out of the back and laid her beer down at the desk to check us in. When we went down to the lobby area to get ice we could hear the staff telling her friends what room has a kitchen to cook at, the men walked passed us and opened a door to a room down the hall. I went to the desk and expressed my concerns to the staff. She told me that she used to bring in her dog for her safety but guest complained about it. She was rude and seemed like we bothered her. While we walked back in our room, we could see her leave the desk and go into the room her friends went to. If your looking for a place to stay, this is not it.

If you are a non-smoker like me I would recommend you stay somewhere else. I reserved and received a non-smoking room but the majority of the rooms in the hotel are smoking and the smoke filled the hallways and ultimately made its way into my room. The rooms could use a little updating. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I needed my room key re-magnetized.

We stayed at this hotel on a family road trip out west. We arrived late at night and left early, and just needed a bed/shower. For this purpose it was ok, but I would not recommend it for more than that. The entire hotel smelled of smoke, even though our wing was non-smoking. The walls were thin- we could hear everything in the hall. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable. The shower tile was falling apart.
