  I stayed at the Mercure Roma Delta Colosseo for one night. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent. The rooms itself are nothing to be excited about. It seems that there is a major difference between three and four star hotels in Italy and those on the rest of the continent. The room was depressing but clean. Not much more to say. If you want an inexpensive room in a good location, this is fine. If you're looking for something impressive, this isn't the place. It does have a gorgeous view from the pool deck. You can see all of Rome. Have a drink at their bar.
