We were there for our honeymoon and the hotel was great! Our room was a standard room but beautiful, pool was amazing, whole hotel super quiet, but not so good location! The free shuttle for the hotel went out of buisness the week before we arrived, so we rented bikes to go everywhere. The nearest beach is about a mile and half away, then duval st. is about the same. The conceirge desk was so friendly and helpful!

From the moment we got there everything went wrong. They had us booked on the wrong days even after showing them the confirmation they mailed us. The A/C did not work, the shower curtain had mold all over it. (Maintenence did come to the room when I walked down and confronted them but the thing never ran right) They never changed the sheets or provided fresh towels until the last day. I was told by the man at the front desk to go into the linen closet and get them myself. After the first day after we came back from a trip down to Duval St, we found our room left wide open. , apparently house keeping was going to clean the room but either forgot or never got around to it. The drain in the tub was clogged up. The phone never worked, and the cable was out at the hotel but was working everywhere else on the key. The thing that really upset me is they over charged us for the room! We had to argue about the days of our departure, even afer we showed them the confirmation they mailed us. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

We were in Key West for a wedding and stayed at the Inn. It was a nice place but the front desk staff left a lot to be desired. I was told that I had a good view....and it did....of palm trees growing onto the deck. The air conditioner was bad and I asked them 3 times to fix. They didn't come up until the second request and did nothing. Others in our party in other rooms did not have the same problem. I was disappointed that the hotel did not have shuttle service to the airport. Taxi was $5.50 per person. Round trip taxi to downtown was over $30.00 w/tip. Key West is really a young persons vacation and not some place I would visit again. I was there 54 years ago as a young boy and flew to Cuba w/my parents. Those were the days. If you go...rent a car and be prepared for a lot of traffic and few parking spaces.

My husband and I have 4 kids, so we wanted to go somewhere relaxing! We upgraded the room from Deluxe to Superior, and it was well worth the money! The room was beautiful and well decorated. The entire hotel is quiet, which means we got really good sleep this week. The swimming pool... HEAVEN! We spent most of our time at the pool because it is the nicest pool we have EVER seen! The food at the hotel is a little pricey, but there is an IHOP right beside the hotel and other restaurants within walking distance. The staff was so pleasant and very helpful, best service I've seen. The bed is comfortable but firm. I'm not into firm matresses, but my husband said he loved it. Overall, the hotel was amazingly beautiful. It is right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. We will be coming back every summer!

I go to KW twice a year and this was my first stay at The Inn. Very pleased overall. Although, in my opinion, if you enter your rooms from the outside rather than the inside, this would be considered a motel not a hotel. But, they were very nicely furnished nonetheless and the bed has got to be the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We arrived about an hour after the allowed check-in time and our room was not ready. The help desk was very courteous and gave us vouchers to take out to the pool bar for a complimentary drink while we waited, which was only about 15 minutes. The banana daiquiris are great! The pool area is large and lush and was never really over crowded in my opinion. A good mix of younger and older couples and only a few kids that I noticed on my trips down to the pool. If you're looking to be around the action of Duval St., this hotel is a little ways away from there. You'll need a rental car or if you're brave enough, you can risk your life on one of the many scooters/mopeds that are rented down there. There's a Denny's next door if you're looking for a greasy spoon within walking distance.
