  Great location: 10-min walk from train station, 10 great mins to Old Nice (maybe a bit more, but so vivid and interesting you don't care), 5 mins to beach, 2 mins to Rue Messena, a lively walking/shopping street. Great staff: Professional, accomodating, excellent English. Our first stay (2 nights) we had a very modern room on 3rd floor; bathroom itself is worth the price.) Our second stay we asked for a higher floor and ended up on top, but in a non-remodeled room a bit worn at the edges, but with a sweet, tiny balcony. Be sure to specify, then, what you want. Breakfast at * Euros (less when room booked on Internet) seemed expensive, but not once you get it: a vast buffet that could sustain you all day.
