The pictures of the rooms are not what they really are!! First of all we couldn't find the hotel, no one would answer the phone to get directions. The entrance was dificult to find as you had to walk to the back of this white building that had a shoe store at the front making it impposible to find what should look like a hotel. There is no parking so we had to park 3 blocks awayn a public parking lot. The lobby/receptioist was a small window with a lady sitting eating a sandwich... friendly. The elevator had an unsusual odor that right away raised red flags which continued through the dark and bamboo covered hallway walls... I felt as I was walking into a brothel. The room was decorated completely different from the photos...it was a joke! Our view was to their garbage bin. Therefore when turning the lights in the room we were immediately inundaded with flies and bugs. Needless to say we did not stay!!!!!

When we arrived, the place looked liked the pictures. The cleaning staff was nice. Front desk on the other hand, was another story. Early on, it was clear that the front desk had a "no" attitude. When I asked for a box of tissues, they said no. (guess it's not included in the price of the room.) When I asked for pots that weren't scratched to the point of showing steel under the teflon, they said no. The biggest pisser... no pun intended... was after we checked out. We had a 1.5 hour wait before the shuttle arrived. After sitting in the courtyard for an hour, I had to use the facilities. I asked front desk if there was a bathroom I could use, they said no, and suggested that I go to the adjacent shoe store to use their bathroom. The store said no. My husband suggested to ask the front desk to use their employee bathroom. Gotta have that, right? I go back to the front desk... guess what they said. "We have no employee bathroom." Obviously, that was difficult to believe. "Where does the staff go," I asked. "They go when they take their breaks," he says. Then I asked him, "where do you go?" "In the rooms that are vacant," he says. With a full bladder I asked for a vacant room, and was given one. Thankfully. Unfortunately, the Metro"no" hotel fiasco didn't end there... When I got home, I noticed some welts on my thighs, which later spread to my knees, my butt, my neck, forehead, ears, cheeks, and eyelids. Bed bugs.
