Not a bad place for what we were looking for. It was a little off the beaten path, and we had some trouble finding the place to begin with. The room was small, but it was clean, and well maintained. There was free use of a local gym facility if we desired. The staff was friendly, and it had a decent selection for the continental breakfast. Not bad for a place to stop for a night on a long trip.

Sheets, very badly, need to be replaced. Room carpet is dirty. Hotel is tired and is in need of an update. Rooms are exacty the same as they were in 2003 when we last stayed there. Hallways are filled with some sort of air freshner (trying to cover up smell?). Stairwells are filthy. Breakfast is very basic.

We spent a week in Chattanooga last month; we found the hotel to a centrally located to meet our needs. The staff was very professional and helpful when we asked for information or things needed in the room. The room was clean and comfortable and while the continental breakfast was simple I think they could have added a bit more variety, they it did consist of juice, cereal, muffins, bagels and coffee. (Could also have been open longer for those of us who slept in a bit to late to catch the breakfast shift - perhaps til 10:00). In one of the brochures it stated they had a gym, which they did not, but they did offer privileges at another place if we wanted to take advantage of that. They also allowed pets here. I would consider staying there again.

We lucked out and got a room that had been recently remodeled. It wasn't spectacular, but it was okay. Everything was functioning. No holes, leaks or stains. Bed, pillows and linens were very comfy and clean. The one thing that struck me was the room felt very sterile, almost hospital-like. The TV was mounted on top of the dresser cabinet reinforcing the hospital image as when you are lying in bed you must angle your head up to see the TV. The closet had only 3 hangers in it. There was no ironing board, which made sense... there was no iron either! The free breakfast was the following: cold cereals, milk, orange juice (concentrate of course) muffins, plain and raisin bagels, cream cheese and jams and instant oatmeal. There is a toaster and a microwave. You must request a microwave and mini fridge in your room. They will not charge you for it. I had one brought to me. I realized that the limited size of the room made the setup even more awkward. The hotel is run by a nice Korean family that went out of their way to make things right for me. They refused to accept tips for extra towels and moving the fridge into my room. Prior to checking out, I witnessed a couple berating the hotel staff over trivial details. Folks, you get what you pay for. For about * bucks a night this isn't The Ritz, so don't expect anything other than a decent room with a respectful staff. If you are on a budget, this is the place to be. Otherwise, spend a little more and stay at the La Quinta behind this hotel.

generally i would say for the price the hotel was just ok,my only problem was that the sheets has stains on them especially the pillow cases,it had a map of brown stains and the sheets has a horrible smell to me it looked like the sheets had not been changed because the sheets had lots of wrinkles on it. Also the bath was clean but the commode had rust running down the side at first look i thought it was dry feases but on closer inspection i saw what it was.The screen at the window had holes in it,the remote was not functioning properly, limite cable channels. The hall ways was very narrow and was smoke filled it felt like every body was smoking and finally i specifically asked for a non/smoking room but unknown to me i was given a smoking room the smells of tobbaco got so strong that i my wife and 17months old daughter had to go out just to get some clean air.Latter that day i complain about the room and one of the staff said i could move to another room that she had no knowledge of my request for non smoking room.I decided to stay that night since we were checking out the next morning.you get what you pay for.
