I selected this hotel for it's location and attractive price. I've only stayed at one other Microtel so I wasn't sure what to expect but my two night stay was very pleasant. There is a continental breakfast, the rooms are small but clean and well furnished and the staff were very helpful. I'd recommend this hotel for as a great value.

I had been on a bike trip from Orlando to Sturgis and was heading back home. Arrived late but found the accommadations clean, refreshing, and relaxing. Hotel is a quick 20 minute trip to downtown Minneapolis and is just off the highway. I would stay there again and would recommend it for road weary travelers.

As long as you remember you didn't pay for luxury, you'll appreciate this hotel. It's a basic, comfortable accommodation at a basic price. The room size is just right, neither cramped nor roomy. The hotel is bright inside and very clean. The staff is polite and helpful. In my room, both the iron and clock radio were not working properly; the Front Desk exchanged them immediately and cheerfully. My bed was very comfortable, but comes with only a thin bedspread; the Desk can provide a a blanket, which I recommend. The hotel has an exercise room with two treadmills, two stair climbers, a cycle, and a good size flat TV. There is also a large-load washer ($2), dryer ($1.75), and a soap dispense (I didn't notice). The provided breakfast is also basic but acceptable: coffee and juice; cereal, breads, and oatmeal packets; and bananas. All in all, this hotel is a great value. I will return next week.
