AAA needs to re-rate this hotel. It is definitely not 4 diamond. Indifferent front desk staff on check-in; AWOL concierge; misinformation about trolley schedule; ratty bathroom floors and walls; flimsy shower curtain so short flooded floor; filthy windows. The tub drained so slowly I stood in ankle-deep water during and after my shower. Only the valet parking lived up to promises. It

I stayed at the Mills House Hotel for a business trip and found it to be everything if not more than I expected. The service was superb from the time I arrived until the time I checked out. If you stay at the Mills Hotel, use the parking garage behind the hotel...it is pretty pricey $* dollars per day but you can walk anywhere you need to. My favorite eatery within walking distance is Hyman's...The greastest seafood and customer service! Mills House is an excellent hotal and I would stay there again.

Hotel was OK, but for the price I've been to much nicer. Interior is supposed to be period pieces, but most was just run down. Carpet, linens, curtains, etc all appeared run down. Shower was only moderately clean. Hotel attempted to charge me for someone elses room service at check out. They also seemed to struggle during check-in. Apparently my room wasn't ready even though I was checking in after the 3PM check-in time. The young lady working the desk didn't know what to do, and had to get a manager to move me to another room. Noise of the cleaning staff in the morning was enough to wake me and keep me awake despite the early hour. I found the "balcony" rooms to be a joke.....they're right along the pool, and also just happen to be the path to the parking deck. So, if you're on floor 2, you have a constant stream of people walking by.
