- Rates are based on double occupancy, and children under 12 stay free in the same room with their parents. *All special requests, including bedding and smoking preferences, are subject to availability at the time of arrival. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the date of arrival to avoid a penalty of one night's room and tax. Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and check out time is 12:00 p.m. Please have your photo I.D. ready and NO personal checks are accepted at check-in. Hotel Policy requires a major credit card as security deposit upon check-in. Pets allowed. A 75 non refundable one time pet fee applies at check in. Size restrictions applies, please call hotel*

Not what I hoped for. Won't visit again

Wanted to stay close to Sea World but not pay a lot of money. The room was old and kinda run down. Huge water stains on the ceiling, dirty shelves in the bathroom, towels and blankets that feel like sandpaper. Was a cheap place to stay but I was hoping for a nicer room. On the plus side it's close to Sea World and had a nice restaurant. We did not pay extra for the upgraded room. Did not want to pay that much and for the price of upgrade room could have stayed at a nicer hotel. I will never stay there again though. Would rather drive a little farther and find a nicer and newer room. Check in was easy and staff were nice. Also our room was on opposite side of the lot from the office. In that area the parking lot was kinda dark and creepy. Best "cheap" room we found in San Diego was at the Comfort Suites in Otay Mesa...very nice. We thought it would be not so good being right next to the border but I loved it!! Little farther drive to Sea World etc but worth the drive to have nice safe clean newer room!!

Recently stayed @ the Mission Valley Resort for a week vacation. Older hotel, but we had a great stay. They had an amazing health club, a few pools, Jacuzzi, restaurant and lounge. The rooms were older, but you could see that they were in the process of renovating guest rooms. My family had a great stay.

I booked a superior King room and i was put in a very shabby double bed room. Toilet seat was broken and the tv didn't work but the room was ok. When i did complain they did accommodate me with a much nicer room with a hot tub. So they did take care of my problem and the other room was very nice for the value. It exceeded what other hotels at this rating would have given me.

12/02/2009The room was clean but smells musty. convenient as its near fahion valley mall and other shopping stores. the gym is too much to climb w/ stairs. not baqd though ...

We stayed at the Mission Valley Resort for three nights. Upon check in they gave us a dirty room. No apologies, the guys at the desk just said "your kidding" and sent us to another building. The second day when we returned from Sea World, we were lokced out of our room and had to walk up to the desk for new keys. Again no apologies. Once inside we had no running water. Back to the desk, they said the "city" was working on some pipes but it should be resolved soon. This was on a Saturday and it was after several hours. The next day we went out again, and returned to inactive room keys. Went back up to the desk, and they informed us that a pipe was leaking and told us to move to yet another room. Not the most fun you can have on vacation with a two year old. Overall the rooms are older and somewhat cramped. Not very clean, found hair in the towels and stained bedspreads. Housekeeping never came by. Some of our light fixtures didn't work. There were lots of intoxicated people on the property. Luckily CHP sat in the parking lot most nights. OK if you are young and just want a place to sleep while you party. As there were lots of people doing just that. Not reccomended for families with small children. Oh, I almost forgot. The gym you get to use is awesome!
