  We were traveling from Oregon to Colorado and needed a place to sleep for the night. The room was very simple and dated, but seemed very clean. The bed was very hard and the bedding was itchy and old; but we got a decent night sleep. The outside of the hotel seemed renovated and the area was not bad at all. Checking in so late and leaving so early, we did not get a chance to check out the fitness room or breakfast.

  We had qualms approaching this property, we booked on line and it just seemed to cheap. How wrong we were, friendly welcome, nice property, all the ammenities we like (internet, Micro, Refer, Coffee maker, Guest laundry). Railroad tracks not far away but they don't whistle and we never heard them. Minor renovation of the front entry was behind schedule but didn't matter and should be done by now. Windows being upgraded, again no bother. We may never get to Evanston again but if we do this property will be our choice.
