Besides my cell phones that were stolen by A SUPERVISOR OF ONE OF THE RESTARUANTS, service was horrible. Food was bland, lacking variety, the good food was gone instantly. The buffet frequently ran out of plates, tables lacked silverware, and some tables too small to sit at. There was no choice of restaurants; we were told where to go and when, and were only allowed 3 evenings of a la cart dining. Restaurant service was lacking; we were ignored at times. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Washcloths were left only twice in 8 days. The minibar consisted of only 2 bottles of soda, 2 cans of beer, and 1 bottle of water. The only 110 power outlet in the room had no 3rd prong, and would not hold a plug. Maintenance basically said, “tough.” A spotlight blared in our balcony all night. The bed-hard. Bathroom tiles and tub needed refinishing, and the retractable drying rack was broken. The TV-horrible reception. Our map and information was inaccurate, w/hard-to-read print on scrap paper w/someone's personal information on the other side. There was no listing for room service. This is NOT an Eco friendly resort! The back is trashed w/broken tile and glass, chairs, tables, trash, broken down tractor equipment, seaweed-it’s horrifying. The ATM on the property is set up incorrectly- only accepting cash withdrawals from savings. Spa reception was rude, and messed up our reservation twice! There was no air conditioning anywhere but in our rooms. The beach itself is overcrowded and not upkept, littered with trash and seaweed. We were harassed by vendors on the beach and on the main paths of the resort. The pool patio was also overcrowded. The resort advertised jet skis; there are none. There was no advertising of some events nor free watersports. Nightlife was lacking-1 show nightly.

I have to admit the beach was extraordinary and the staff were pleasant. Every other thing was suspect to say the least. Our room had toilet water dripping from the ceiling. We had a strong moldy smell that came from the 1970'era fridge / minibar. The tv in the room was broke on and off the entire week. Last but not least the resort tries to pressure sale you condos the entire time you are there.

we have been to the punta cana natura resort twice in three years april 08 and april 10 no it is not a six star maybe a three star. however we absoutely love the beach you can get no better. the food is aveage but you can always find something you like. the staff is over worked but friendly and will help you the best they can. we have had no issues with our rooms either time however others have. what i like best is that you can come and go at your leisure and its a casual atmosphere. go with no expetations relax and you will enjoy yourself other comment about needing the doctor sorry to hear about that we always take a first aide kit with us no matter where we go this is still a third world country.

The overall hotel is lovely with an adequate beach and pool. The food was the same every day and it was just "ok". Some very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was dirty, full of mold, and had broken fixtures. Air conditioning in the room did not work and the celing fan was extremely noisey....difficult to sleep. My husband was injured one night by a fall and we could not get anyone on staff to help. (We needed some antibiotic ointment and bandges and they seemed too busy to help.) A visit to the clinic in the morning saw us waiting for the "doctor" while she ate breakfast for over an hour. We finally bought our own supplies in the gift shop, and LUCKILY he was okay. Not recommended.
