  This was my first time traveling to Amsterdam and I was traveling solo. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful when it came to directions and service. Room was Euro-small which was a little expected on my part. Not the room as advertised in the pictures though. My room had a view of the main street. Tram ran right in front of the hotel so was easy to travel around the city and get to the hotel from the airport. Not too much noise from the street but if you are sensitive to street noise you may want to ask for a room facing the back of the hotel. Hotel in a nice quiet neighborhood that is great for walking around and has a lovely park with a pond down the street. Draw-backs- The bed was hard like a brick and low to the ground Not my thing.

  I enjoyed my stay here and felt overall, it is a good value-comfortable, clean room (we booked the superior room). We opted to walk into Leidsplein area as well as other main points of interest, and felt that Amsterdam was quite accessible by foot, and enjoyed walking through the neighborhoods.

  This hotel did not live up to the park plaza standard. our room had noisy hot water pipes running along the ceiling and was hot in april, even with the ...

  This hotel did not live up to the Park Plaza standard. Our room had noisy hot water pipes running along the ceiling and was HOT in April, even with the heat turned off. We ended up leaving the windows wide open all the time. The shower had a hole in the tiles that had leaked through the wall and stained the carpet in front of the door. The only pluses for this hotel were the location along the tram line and next to Vondel Park. "
