The rooms were very small. And the bathrooms as well. The bed was very comfortable, BUT was disgusted by the fact that there were stray hairs on the comforter! Had to call room service up to send new sheets and blankets!! Overall its was ok..but would not stay there again.

Older motel where you park in front of the door to your room. If you choose on basis of price and location - location is good but read fine print, when you get there they also charge you a $*/day parking fee and a $*/day "green" fee, for what I am not sure. Room was clean but spartan, only place to sit other than the bed was a straight chair at the desk. Bed had a thick all foam mattress that to me was very uncomfortable. Bathroom was small with limited vanity space.

Our stay at Park Tahoe Inn was good. We stayed in one of their Superior King rooms. It had a Temper-Pedic bed which was so comfortable that I don't think I moved all night. Fortunately the room was only for two of us because it was kind of small. It wouldn't have been good if you were planning on spending a lot of time in the room. The young lady at the front desk was pleasant and helpful with directions. The location is within walking distance to shopping, Starbucks is across the street and it's maybe a 10 minute walk to the casinos. I felt that the $* per night parking charge was a bit excessive and to charge a $* resort fee per night was ridiculous because this establishment is far from a resort. We got the room for a very low rate. I think it is normally somewhere around $* per night. That would have been too much and my rating would have been much lower had I paid full price. The room was clean, the shower was decent (a big one for me), location was great. Overall a good hotel that we would consider for future South Lake Tahoe trips for a discounted rate.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed in terms of getting a night's sleep. Between the poor dog whining from 2am - 4am, or the seemingly 27 people above our room doing a rhumba from midnight to the wee hours, it was wretched. Oh and the so called internet service didn't work for the 3 days and two nights we were there. We chose bottom floor because of ice and snow... don't do that if you opt to stay here. Otherwise, it was an ok stay in terms of amenities, staff. But I won't be staying here again.

there are many more negatives we encountered during our stay than positives. 1) there is a HIDDEN service fee of $* per day. Swimming pool and jacuzzi are not working. 2) showers are extremely small, difficult to take a shower if you are 200 lbs or more. 3) our room smelled of wet dog. We had to request clean bed spread since it was coming from our bed. 4) walls are paper thin. You can easily hear regular conversations from people in the next room who are not even being loud. 5) anything you put in the fridge was frozen within hours. there were not buttons to adjust temp.
