I have never experienced problems at this hotel. In the last 6 months I have stayed at this hotel 3 times #40 1 week 10 days 1 week#41. Rooms were never dirty and if you needed something that was not in the room housekeeping or reception would get it for you. At the end of the street is rue de Levis which has an open air market and numerous stores boulangeries confiseries and a Monoprix Supermarket and a Monoprix super market and across the street a Monoprix Dept. store #40which if you cut through from rue de Levis and exit at the other end of the store you will be at Villiers station very quickly.. There are several wonderful cafes and also for breakfast either the cafe has morning pastries or you can purchase on rue de Levis and bring to a cafe. Metro Villiers is very close to the hotel - not a long walk at all.. The staff at the hotel has always been extremely polite and accommodating As for the rooms the televisions are limited as to the amount of stations but then again I am never in Paris to watch TV! I plan to be there again in late April- early May.

Where to begin. If you looked at the photos you will see the shot of the front of the hotel is shot at an upward angle. The reason for this is because the hotel is on a small, narrow street with no parking spaces. The front desk was rude and required that they photo copy my passport in order for me to stay there which I was not 100% comfortable with but after being awake 24 hours nothing sounded better than taking a shower and getting to bed. Until I got to my room. The room was small. The room is 8 foot squared and there was no room for two grown men to sit comfortably. The TV didn't work, the heating did neither and the bathroom was deplorable. I addressed this with a staff member who feigned an inability to speak English. I don't know what metro station the other reviewer was talking about because the nearest one is Villagers which is a quarter mile away. There were no amenities. No breakfast. No fitness center. Security? Yes there is someone at the front desk at all times but when you leave the hotel you are required to leave your hotel room key with the front desk and there is no safe in the room which to lock up your valuables. Essentially, this place is more of a hostel than a hotel and the staff is more hostile than hospitable. The one thing I can say was good about the staff was when I needed a car for the morning they called one promptly. I wouldn't stay here if they offered me a free presidential suite for a month. I have stayed in bad places. I even lived in Compton, California, but this was horrible. Find another hotel. NOW!

This Hotel has a perfect location,300 meters from the metro station. It is located in a street that has eveything you can imagine, grocery, supermarket, pharmacy, laundry store, coffee shops,etc.... It is close to everything 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower, Moulin Rouge, Champs Ellyse etc... Staff i s very very friendly.Breakfast is expensive 9 Eu/Per and not worth your money. Rooms are extremely small but clean, but no one goes to paris to stay in his room. I would definitely come back again.Don't search for a better hotel, this is more than perfect. Tip: Avoid avoid avoid the street gamblers. You will never win this game. They have people whp appear playing and winning but in reality they work for them. You will never never never win .Do not stop and watch you will lose your money.Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Not the best place. There is no air conditioning, the bathroom tiles were cracked and in pieces on the floor. I asked on two occasions for a wake up call in the morning, but never got one and there was no alarm clock in my room. On the brighter side, the staff I encountered were very nice, and the hotel is in a decent location. The room I stayed in was very small. I was by myself and was only there two nights so the size was not really a big deal. Another good point is that it is a very short walk from the Villiers stop on the 2 line of the Metro, so getting around was a breeze.

Great location it is close to metro and a small market. Room was very small but clean besides we did not go to Paris to stay in the room. The staff was very nice. The area is great lots of little cafes to eat at for decent prices and bakeries for breakfast so I would not recommend taking the hotel breakfast at 9 Euros a day per person. The room did not have air conditioning so not sure it would be suitable for the hot summer months Overall I would go back to this hotel.
