The hotel was a good value for the price. The grounds were impeccable the staff was very accommodating and friendly the rooms were clean and the beach was beautiful. The food was decent though I wish they had more of the local food to try. The steakhouse was the best one out of all the restaurants. The drinks were a bit watered down but the bartenders always poured extra when asked. Our room was gifted with a bottle of rum cigars and a little beach bag which was a nice surprise. Saw the difference when we visited the other hotels which were large crowded and quite a distace from the beach. Big advantage to the adult only resort is no screaming kids on the beach. Didnt have a problem getting a tiki. They even had a beach BBQ twice a week. Everything you need is on the grounds and the hotel is beautiful and small enough that you can get to everything. Didnt see any motorized sports though. Didnt matter for us because we took ziplining and snuba tours which we booked at the hotel. Overall a good deal for the price.

We just got back from a 5 day trip with only a few hick ups. The biggest of wich was that I did not bring any long pants some we could not get in any of the restaurants only the buffet which was more edible than good. The rooms needed a serious makeover and ours had ants in the bathroom. The grounds, beach, and pool were great and well maintaned. The bar on the beach was limited in the drinks it could make, we found ourselfs walking to the pool bar to get our drinks which was a good little walk. Do your self a favor and go to the gift shop and get a big insulated cup they hold about 3 time as much and stays cold for twice as long as the small plastic cups that they give you if you don't have your own cup. We went on 2 excursions, the atv($* usd) and zip line($* usd), both were great. If you go on on the zip line take mosquito spray. If you go on the atv (dune buggys go on the same tour) take cloths that you don't mind throwing away and a pair or sun glasses. You go thru alot of mud, you get especially dirty with the dun buggys. Over all a good trip but I would try to find a different hotel if we went back.

I have been to other four star and above hotels in the carib.and beleive me this was a 3 star at best! The food was so bad I was hoping there was a fast resturant around.The service was below average,lots of venders on the beach & on the hotel grounds,not overly friendly or helpfull at the front desk, the entertainment was the same three people day and night trying to to get the grests up and help them entertain everyone else.Free non-motorized water sports? where? A $* deposit on snorkling equip,had to take a course to be able to take out a hobie cat catamaran also $* Only place that had a/c was your room.The hotel loby had no a/c,small fans in one cornor. The breakfast,lunch & dinner buffet no a/c,the three small restaurants on the property had a/c but did no cool the place.The pool bar was a joke.Aways had a new person in training that didn't know a beer from a margarita. My advice,find a better place.Do not waste your money here! Last but not least we had to wear a stupid bracelet for 10 days!
