This hotel is right off the highway so it is convenient and not too much highway noise even with the window cracked. Everything looks nice then they asked us at the front desk if we minded the second floor - we didn't but what they didn't tell us was that there was no elevator to the second floor nor an entrance to the stairwell from inside the main building. Not terrible but kinda would have liked to have known we'd be hoofing our huge suitcase up the stairs. then there was the bathroom. appearances were fine but the toilet rocked on the bolts and this caused the piping to leak and the toilet to run. We got through the night alright with a little commode adjusting. Off to the restaurant...Rodigan's or some thing similar. Breakfast was fine but the service....We did not order right away as we were waiting for our guest but observation told us we should call, read her the menu and order ASAP. We summoned our waitress when she finally appeared - this was not a usual occurance- to order. 45 minutes later our breakfast arrived, well after our guest. Restaurant patrons had resorted to getting up to the breakfast bar to serve themselves coffee as this was the only way they would have gotten it. I can only hope that the kitchen staff called in sick and the waitress and hostess had to cook, seat and serve. This would be the only way I can see not getting a breakfast order in 15 mins.

Key cards worked sporadically on exterior hotel doors. Peeling wallpaper and moldy walls in the stairwells, no elevator. Very nice and helpful front desk staff. Restaurant decent. Rooms smelly, dirty and old. The lobby has been renovated, but not the rooms. I would have paid more to stay at the Marriott had I known there was one.

the hotel was just a minutes drive from the thruway. the room was average, but roomier than many i've been in. a plus was the indoor pool. it was large (you could really swim laps) and open till 9 as was the exercise room.

Kind of a typical, older, Eastern hotel. Shows its age. Things are a bit worn. Room and bathroom doors don't necessarily close nicely. Room did have a min-fridge, but not sure all do. Has perhaps the longest corridor I've ever encountered. To walk from the far end to the front desk you have to run a gauntlet of three or four different regions of smoking rooms. If they're occupied and you're a non-smoker, well, you get the idea. Has an on-site restaurant and so there is no free breakfast. I've come to expect a decent conti-breakfast in mid-range hotels like this and was disappointed. Chose to eat elsewhere.
