Overall nice hotel especially if you can get up on the 7th floor. Elevators were being worked on and renovations were being done so that was a set back. Staff very friendly. Would like it if they had coined operated laundry.

Staying at this hotel was a great experience. I stayed for four days at the end of December to visit with my son who goes to UCF but couldn't make it home for Christmas. I booked and paid through travel website and had no problem checking in or out - I checked out at 3am and did not have to call anyone to the front desk; it's manned 24/7. The room was clean and everything described was there and in working order. The beds are sleep number beds which I'm not overly fond of, but my son stayed one night in the room and absolutely loved it. I put my bed at 40 so that tells you I'm used to a pretty soft bed. The housekeeping service was excellent. I just put the do not disturb sign out when I was in the room during the day and no one bothered me at all. One day we were in and out all day until around 2pm so we left the sign on until then. At 3:30 we returned and the room was done. Excellent service. The hotel did not feel crowded even though there were two busloads of basketball players staying there. My son and I used the gym twice; it's located on the 2nd floor (we stayed on the 5th floor - it was one of the floors with vending machines and ice). The gym was great for me; one cycle, two treadmills, one elliptical, a TV, free weights, and a multi-purpose weight machine. Very nicely padded floor, two air conditioning units, cold water dispenser, two bathrooms, and a fully mirrored front wall. There is also a bike trail at the local YMCA right around the corner (maybe 5 minutes); my son biked and I walked his dogs.

05/14/2008This hotel has exceptional customer service, very accommodating as a home away from home. very elegant and classical. will definitely return when in the orlando area for business, ideal location.
