Great Hotel with Great Customer Service

Pricing was good and the location was decent. The room was as expected. The first thing I did was look under the mattresses and sheets to see what I could see and there were no surprises. The elivators were really run down looking, Some of the sconce lamps in the halls were banged up. But the staff was freindly and very helpfull. One of our room the TV did not work and they prompty move us to another upgraded room. Parking was a little cramped better plowing and salting could have helped. With all this said not a bad experience.

Location was a little sketchy, but near a lot of attractions. Water pressure sucked, towels smelled like cigarette smoke, elevator worked part of the time, and I never got the refrigerator I requested. If you have the maids clean the room put anything you wish to keep in the safe if there is one in your room. I usually tip the maids on the day of my check out, but since they stole the $* in change I had on my bedside table I decided against it. The only reason I would ever go back is if I were going to a concert at the Fillmore Auditorium which is directly across the street and a block away.

The hotel was in a nice location to be near family and friends but.....the rooms were not so nice. They still allow smoking in the rooms. We mentioned to the front desk about the toilet not flusing on the first try, the door knob amost coming off the door, the towel rack coming out of the screws and a lamp that was not working. Only the door knob was fixed. The room was not that nicest room I have ever stayed in....holes in the bedspread. Also, there was a bump sleeping in the stairwell. They had a restaurant and bar but they were not open at all.
