Nice hotel

We had called to schedule an earlier checkin & were told we could come in at 10 for an additional cost. When we arrived there was no knowledge of this so nothing was available. We had to wait over an hour for our room. They offered us other rooms without the additional charge but the bed size was wrong & they had no smoking rooms which we had reserved. Other then that, this was a good hotel. The rooms were nice, our smoking room didn't smell like stale smoke.

The room was clean. The room warmed up nice, I like it hot so the heater was up to 80 degrees, it made some noise during the night but was not bad. The bathroom sink was layers upon layers of duck-tape which is my only complaint about the room. The hotel staff was very nice and very helpful especially because travelocity had an error that the hotel had to correct resulting in an one hour check in. Due to the error of tavelocity and the one hour check in I believe I was given a discount because the final recite was $* ower then the original print out but I was never told of such a discount. I would stay here again. As for the Continental breakfast, we did not go to it because usually its all stuff I am allergic to.

For an inexpensive hotel, i was worried, It was spacious enough and had all the ammenities and the bed was very comfortable-a kind size. The only complaint is the bathroom was so small and the sink was outside the bathroom. Also, this may sound funny but true, the toilet seat was so so shard, it hurt my legs and butt, I am not kidding, BUT It really was a great place to stay. Clean and neat and that is so important. Would go back.

We went to Mohegan Sun to see the Jimmy Buffett concert. We stayed at the Days Inn Mystic. The room was very nice. It was big, clean, and comfortable. However, they had the worst coffee in the world! As we were checking out I saw another guest walk out and dump her whole cup out. We also had a lot of trouble getting our key to work in the door. It worked everywhere else ( Fitness room and exterior doors) but our door. I told the desk so I assume they will fix it.

I would like to say that I was very disappointed in this Days Inn for a couple of reasons. First, they didn't want to be bothered with giving any information about the area and they ran out of discount coupons for the attractions in the area i.e.. Mystic Aquarium, so the guy told us to try to get some at one of the other hotels. Also, we got up early to go to the continental breakfast, the O.J. tasted like water and the waffle mix they used tasted like soggy cardboard. Never again!!!
