I read the reviews and was prepared for the comfortable beds, small bathroom and the black tube on the beach. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small, there was also a black tube on the beach. Neither of these affected the extremely pleasant experience of our Ramada stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly including the valet, they even warmed up our car in the morning. The restuarant had good food and for reasonable prices. The restaurant next door had the BEST tilapia fish sandwich we ever had. I would stay here for work again. The view from the balcony ont the 8th floor was AWESOME and the beach was good even though it was winter.

The Entire hotel Staff was excellent and the Room was OUTSTANDING. Even the specail events coordinator was great as she called my room to let me know of discount coupons and specials. Looking forward to staying there again.

This is a pleasant hotel, front desk was very nice and helpful. No refrigerator in the room, but the comfort of the beds and pillows made up for it! Beds were great! Shower was also very nice, with dual heads to get everything clean! I thought the location of the indoor pool was odd. You had to walk through the front lobby and check-in area to get to the pool. Parking is in a garage across the street, but they have valet parking to take care of it if you don't want to park and walk over. We would stay there again!

We booked the 2 full size for us and our 3 kids since the reviews for this hotel were pretty good as was the location (on the beach). The hallway was about 100 degrees, the ice maker on our floor didn't work thru the whole stay, and getting hold of someone at the front desk took way too long. I had to call down to get an extra set of sheets for the rollaway bed we got since they didn't leave a set when they cleaned the room (don't know how they missed that since they moved the bed out of the way), each time the phone rang at least 15 times before someone picked up. The guest services guys were too busy either selling time shares or talking to girls to help us out when we were looking for a McDonalds, and even then got the location wrong by several blocks (we stopped at another hotel whos Guest services guys helped us out). The place is steps away from the beach, although right out the window the view was of a large drainage pipe pumping water out into the ocean. Also the shower had a leak that would run water into the room that didn't get fixed. On a good note: The bands that played there and a few blocks down were decent, the folks at David's across the street were great (needed to replace the 2 yr olds hat), the VA Aquarium was a mile down the road and a great place to take the kids during the hottest part of the day, and if you're looking for a good quick meal, Planet Pizza 2 blocks up was fantastic.

the only nice part of the hotel is the lobby and its restaurant that only serves sea food and sushi the rest of the hotel has paint peeling and 2 incrediably small elevators. the website says theres a pool i never found it and we stayed for4 nights. the hotel staff is not very helpful with giving you things to consider to try out while on vacation. we also got suckered into a time share meeting that took all day long. we wouldnt stay again.
