I booked a jaccuzi suite for my boyfriend and I and it was pefectly wonderful! The room was clean and nice and the jaccuzi was awesome! Staff were all friendly and they even let us check in early! Walking distance from the Chophouse and other great restaurants!

Big waste of money!

The hotel rooms were nice but the hotel service was just ridiculous. I was awoken at seven thirty a.m. by the maids who were carelessly vacuuming in the hallway. As I was packing, with the do not disturb sign on the door, a maid just waltzes right into my room. No knocking or anything. Afterwards I went to check out. I paid for the room in cash and they said it would take two to three days for the amount to be taken off of my credit card. Eight days later, the amount was still on and I had an extra thrity dollar charge added. When I called the hotel, they said it was two to ten days for the transaction to complete and that the extra thirty dollars, that I was never told about, was for incidentals? But the woman continues to tell me how it's for ordering room service and movies, which I did none of. Worst stay of my life.

I felt good booking at the Downtown Radisson, but the place is run-down. The old bed, was not comfortable, the TV had a poor picture and the desk set up (lighting and chair) were poor. The restaurant was conveinient, but I when I went down, about 7pm, (on a Friday night) I stood at the hostess station for nearly 10 minutes waiting to be seated. I was never greeted, or acknowledged by any of the staff. I decided that finding a vending machine would be better and left the restaurant. The bathroom was Spartan, and cramped. The water pressure was weak too. The hotel is expensive, for the poor quality of amenities. I will never stay here again. The lobby did look nice, and the Front Desk staff was helpful and friendly when I checked in.

I have stayed at the Akron Radisson many times. This time it was very disappointing. The food in the restaurant was over priced and not good. The pool water was very cold, the TV in the room did not work and I had no hot water for my morning shower. I was offered 2 free breakfasts from the front desk staff, but I did not feel this made up for the stay.

This was just a horrible experience, from arrival to departure. We were a group that had traveled for a wedding. When people arrived they were given keys to rooms that were not made up. cribs were order and they didn"t arrived, parking is insane. I felt so bad for the staff, at one point people were standing in line to complain., and not just from our group. Hard working staff, lazy management
