This hotel is right in front of a bunch of ghetto apartments. There is not even a fence between them and the hotel. I was waiting all night to hear the alarm on my car go off from some one breaking into it. There were several very shady looking characters just hanging around the hotel too. I am not sure if they were customer/tenants, one of the employee's boyfriends, ore just loitering from the apartments next door. The back stairs door to the hotel doesn't lock and the windows in the back staircase are boarded up with partical board. The hall carpet is ripped and the whole places smells really bad. Their were black mystery stains on our room's carpet, bathroom tile and the shower was stained on the bottom a gray color. The windows were filthy too, but when compared to everything else it didn't matter. I wouldn't have stayed except we had to be somewhere right away and I couldn't bother finding a pet friendly hotel on short notice. The pool was tiny and looked like someone would get hepitisis just walking in the gate to it. Needless to say we did not use it. A plus however, my car was not broke into.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean. The carpet in the hallway did not make a good impression, but I was not staying in the hallway. The room was clean and spacious (for the price).
