The hotel was exceptional. Nice staff, clean rooms, VERY comfortable beds. The restaurant was delicious for a good price! The bar was good for watching sports and having company over. The gym and pool and other amenities were sublime. We loved it, close to neighborhood of friends and O'hare. We had one of the best stays.

It was a nice hotel with very comfortable beds . New looking and very clean. The location was great; it was a short walk to the blue line train. A dominink's food store was about half a mile away (across the transit bridge) I didn't like that there were no telephone books in the room. No information at all in the room about the area and so I had to keep calling the desk to ask about the area. The lobby had free wi-Fi internet but the room only had wired for $* a day. There was a refrigator but no microwave. My room which had a king-sized bed only had a shower and no tub.

This is a nice hotel that seems to cater to individuals versus the big hotels that focus on conventions. Friendly staff, really comfortable bed--I would definitely stay again. Pro's: REALLY comfortable bed No hallway noise as you are able to close the door to the bedroom which cuts out any noise The El train is half a block away (the blue line) There is a grocery store within walking distance Refrigerators in the rooms Big bathroom with a walk in shower Free wifi in the hotel lobby Nice sized fitness center for a hotel Con's: No flat screen TV's in the rooms--just regular TV's No wifi in the rooms--there is only cable access for a daily fee Poor bathroom lighting--tough to put make up on there. Didn't get my wake up call--I think the phone was on the fritz Room service was kinda slow The biggest negative for me was the lack of wifi as I couldn't watch netflix movies on my laptop in my room. Hotel movie ran me $*. Otherwise, the comfort and quietness of the hotel made up for it in the long run.

Stayed a weekend in November. The rate was very competitive, so I expected little. I was surprised at how nice, comfortable and beautiful this place is. For visiting friends and family in Chicago it is great because of the proximity to the train to the Loop. It is central enough of a location for family to come to the hotel, where they will be impressed by the surroundings. the fitness center is very good, which was great for me. The view I had was great. I had a very simple agenda that weekend so I was able to really relax and enjoy the amenities. I found dinner at the restaurant to be very good. The only downside for me was that the staff seemed unacceptably ignorant when I asked about nearby dining options. It is absolutely incredibly ridiculous nobody knew anything about the surrounding area. Nobody at the desk, nor the security staff could tell me anywhere outside the hotel I could go for dining or entertainment -- besides going downtown. Otherwise, I am planning to stay there for my next visit.

This hotel is a great deal for someone who doesn't mind staying outside of Chicago to save some money. The Blue Line CTA is right outside for you to catch the subway into downtown. Be sure and go to Dominicks grocery store across the street to purchase an 'all day fun pass' for $5.75; especially if you're going to be going back and forth within the same day. Subway 'one way' costs $2.25. It's good for all CTA (Chicago Transit) including buses as well. Hotel staff was awesome, even the complimentary shuttle driver was helpful and knowledgable of area. We had a great experience at this hotel!!
