Our 3 day stay was very enjoyable even though the pool was not available due to some repairs to comply with recent changes in code requirements. The manager and staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast adequate. We would definitely stay there again! The only thing that concerned me was that the back door was not kept locked and anyone could walk in. However, in Logan that didn't seem to be much of a concern.

We had an awesome time here. Sure, the rooms need some updating, namely the stained carpets and worn furniture, but if you don't let that get to you, the resort and surrounding area is spectacular! This hotel has the BEST beach access in the area, alone making it worth it for the true hawaiian experienece. Snorkeling right there is incredible, no need to go across the island. The onion rings at the Maui Onion served poolside are great, along with a smoothie served inside a pineapple! We brought our almost 6 month old baby, and still had a great time!

The hotel was great and we thought the grounds were better than the Grand Wailea or Four Seasons, lots of open area and green. The pool is small but who goes to Hawaii to swim in a pool? The beach was fantastic with the best snorkeling reef right there. We were scuba-diving and snorkeling 2 min from our room, even did a wreck dive from there. My only complaint was the $*/day parking fee you have to pay whether you valet or self park. Would go back in a minute. There is talk that it is going to be torn down because they want to build a more expensive hotel there."

We took the cheaper terrace view and loved the trees and wildlife. Noise from loading dock in am was fine with the door closed; later in the day it was great to hear the birds. Gardens are gorgeous! Staff was excellent, but their big restaurant ?The Palms? was terrible. Food was barely ok and service was horrible. We had to wait 30 minutes to get our check! Too bad-the location is lovely and it?s pleasant to sit and listen to the live entertainment from the bar above.
