The hotel was nice and the location even better. However, the television is outdated and I did have problems with the cable connection. The staff did fix the problem after several calls and visits. Overall, the excellent was excellent for the cost.

I booked the Residence Inn downtown for a recent trip to Atlanta. I could not have had a better experience!! The valet parking was quick and easy. The hotel is in a historic building that is easy to find and within walking distance of many downtown attractions. It is secure and safe. There is a complimentary buffet with many choices for breakfast, not just a few stale danish. I enjoyed the evening social with a light meal and your choice of soft drinks, beer or wine. The Hotel Manager offers a walking historic tour of downtown weekly. It was fun and informative. Every employee I encountered was friendly and truly seemed to enjoy their job. Would definitely stay there again.

Residence Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Convenient location & truly a home away from home experience. The entire staff from the moment we arrived until the moment we checked-out were above and beyond courteous and accommodating. From the Valet Parkers to the Front Desk Personnel, Hospitality, Cooks, etc. Each staff member made this a delightful stay. There was only one incident when the housekeeper came into our room to leave some toiletries & towels while we were asleep that was a little uneasy & unacceptable but once reported to the manager, it was addressed and didn't happen again. We still left good tips.

We liked the location because it was close enough to many of the downtown attractions. However, the valet damaged our vehicle, so make sure you check over your car before you leave. The breakfast they provided was very nice and had a wide assortment of food. Not sure if I would stay here again, but I am the kind of person that likes to try different places out.

Great location - close to many attractions and light rail - easy, cheap access to airport. Rooms spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and attentive. Wonderful full complimentary breakfast and light dinners for the budget-minded. Free internet! It's hard to pick the one best feature of this hotel. It even had an exercise room and laundry facilities. The only reason I didn't give it a ""5"" is it is not a ""luxury"" hotel with swimming pools, spas, restaurants on site but these were not my priorities and yet were generally close by.
