We really enjoyed this hotel -- the rooms were quite spacious and clean, the breakfast selections were good (including waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, four types of cereal, bagels, English muffins, fruit, juices, and coffee), and staff was friendly. The hotel is about a block from the High Museum, and also a half-block from the new Museum of Design Atlanta. We also really enjoyed the "Manager's Toast" -- three times a week, there is a selection of food that you could basically use as a dinner option, served from 6 to 8. When we were there, the options included nachos, chili, salad, popcorn, and few other small items. Parking is very expensive in the hotel, but if you're willing to go a block further away from downtown, you'll find less expensive options. Though runners and walkers seem to be attracted to the stop-and-go of Peachtree street, if you're interested in taking a nice walk/run, get off Peachtree to the residential streets near the hotel, where the houses are beautiful, there are fantastic small parks, and a 20-minute walk will take you to the amazing Botanical Garden.

Hotel room was great. Very spacious. Its also near the marta and the atlantic station so its easy to get around without a car. The hotel staff was great. One employee went the extra mile to make sure I had a lot of fun places to go during my stay.

I stayed at the Residence Inn/Marriott in Atlanta my last trip and really fell in love with the hotel and its location, right across the street from the High Museum of Art and very close to wonderful restaurants (try Shout! just down the road). Clean, quiet neighborhood, excellent service at the hotel itself, beautiful rooms. What more ya want?

This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. I requested a handicapped room and that request was granted. While we didn't utilize the full kitchen, it was still nice to have a refridgerator. The room, the kitchen, the bathroom and all supplied utencils were sparkling clean. From front desk to general staff, everyone was kind, friendly and helpful. One of the very best perks this hotel offered was the delicious, hot breakfasts each morning. The food was hot, well prepared and there was also a variety of cold foods, sweet rolls and fruit. The staff worked hard to keep the buffet well stocked. The location of the hotel--within walking distance of the High Museum, really appealed to me. We received terrific value for the price we paid for the room, but we felt the parking fee was too high. I realize that the parking was probably provided by a sub contractor, but still the fee was high. Here again, however, staff who served us was most helpful.

The room was quite large with a full kitchen (frig, 2 burners, dishwasher, microwave & includes dishes & detergent). All the comforts of home. The room has excellent quality bedding & a nice bathroom, both were very clean. Hotel offers a complimentary hot breakfast & a Starbucks is located next door for those interested. The only negatives of this hotel were a very unfriendly & unwelcoming staff & the parking ($ a day). Ended up parking on the side street for free on the weekends.
