We booked this hotel under the impression that it was a "2 star" hotel. The price was very low & we were there to shop...so, saving money on the hotel was our goal. Not expecting the quality of a 3 or 4 star hotel, we pulled into the parking lot & saw a sign for "monthly rates"...this gave us the wrong impression before we even walked in. Check in was ok. The hotel already was looking a bit dated to us, but we thought that it would at least be clean in the room. We were disappointed to say the least. The carpet was filthy. Left our clean white socks black & you couldn't walk on it without shoes or socks...it was sticky! There were blood stains on the 1970's wallpaper, burn marks in the soiled comforter, mold & mildew in every possible spot in the bathroom, dust on every fixture, and the list went on & on. Unable to check out right away (booked online & would have lost our payment) we decided to at least stay the night since it was late. In the morning I woke with huge bites all over me. I had had enough & we checked out. Needless to say we received a partial refund because this hotel is misrepresented on most travel sites as a 2 star...1 star would be too kind in all honesty. You hear reviews from one night travelers, but they seem to be from the area & already knew about the hotel. We were from out of state & expected more than a filthy hotel with people living in the hotel. I will never stay there again & recommend that anyone that is considering the Roadstar hotel stay far far away!

Check in was fine.....but....we had only been in our room 10 minutes when we discovered dog poop on the carpet under the table in the corner!!!!! And this was supposed to be a cleaned room!!!! We were given another non smoking room, but it reeked of smoke, and there were two ashtrays in the room......AND....we weren't even offered an apology by the young man working the front desk!!!! Needless to say, we will never stay at a Roadstar Inn again!!!!!!
