I stayed at The Royal Solaris Cancun Resort fom April 4th-11th 2011 and I was VERY impressed!!! The staff was awesome, they were always willing to help with anything and the intertainment staff was so much fun they always had positive and high energy attitudes, and always including the guests (which made it even better)! The night shows were awesome and so intertaining. The bartenders were very fun and always wanting to serve you (especially if you tip them!) The food was okay, but always looked extravagant and set up so wonderfully. The pool, beach, dinning and the rooms were always SO clean and perfectly organized! The room cleaners were great.. everyday we would come back to our room and it looked as good as new!!! I highly recommend the Royal Solaris Resort to everyone!!!! I would forsure stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

This was truly a vacation for mom. I didn't have to cook or clean, just enjoy the great beach this hotel has, the food, and the drinks. The hotel staff is really friendly and the food was great for buffet style. It sits upon one of the best areas of the beach, and is a short bus ride to the clubs. Cancun is clean and very safe, although a little hard on the pocketbook. The rooms were simple and clean. The bed was firm, but not uncomfortable. The entire hotel was extremely clean and the drinks were great.

This hotel is by no means luxury but you really can't beat it when it comes to the price. The food is decent, not great and you are a ways down the beach from the main area, which could be a good or bad thing. It's really easy to get there by bus for 8.5 pesos though if you want to check out the clubs, restaurants and shops. The pool and beach are really nice too. Every day seemed to have a different vibe. Some days were all about the college spring breakers, other days seemed like a lot of families, and others were mostly retirees. It was kind of odd that way. Overall very fun trip though!

My wife and I went for our 15th wedding anniversary in March 17 thru March 21th the staff was wonderful very friendly and waited on us hand and foot. The resort is very clean and up to date. The only one bad issue was the TV had only two or three American speaking channels but if I wanted to go all the way from Michigan to Cancun to watch TV I spent to much money. This hotel was right on the beach and the sand was kept very clean by hotel workers. Food and drinks were very good no complaints. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. This is a time share hotel they asked us on check in to have a tour we told them that we are not interested in a time share and they never bothered us the rest of our stay.

We stayed from March 7th thru the 14th. The rooms were clean and pleasant, as was the resort in general, they take great pride in their appearance and it shows. The food was fair to good, we could always find something to our liking. The beach was fabulous and kept clean by the staff on regular occasion. It is located close to the airport so not right downtown, you must take the city bus when venturing out.Very inexpensive transportation and easy to use. We enjoyed the location. Ours was the only resort that had a lit beach at night.The staff were polite and helpful. Be aware that the walls in the resort are quite thin, you can easily hear others activites going on during all hours of the day and night. We had hoped for more activites or entertainment going on in the evenings, as we only ventured out one night during the duration of our stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a good value and a great place to stay. We enjoyed it very much and would stay again if in the area. Adding one note: many people stated that they were pestered by the timeshare people on location. Our group had no problems, we asked in the beginning of our stay if we were interested, we stated that we we not and were not bothered for the rest of our stay.
