  I cannot believe there are not more reviews I stayed here and was trested wonderful, and they were renovating at the time and no problems .The restaurant breakfast was also very good nice dinning area and bar area clean and quiet.

  We just stayed in the Sawridge Inn yesterday evening for the first time. We travel to Edmonton several times per month and have stayed in many of the hotels in downtown and south Edmonton. To our pleasant surprise, this hotel exceeded our expectations for a 3* hotel compared to many of the others we have stayed in the past. The lobby is beatufully rennovated and connected opens into the expansive central atrium of the hotel where the hotel restaurant and bar reside. Tastefully decorated in a modern yet rustic style, the stone tiles used throughout the lobby floor and the large exposed wooden beams make this hotel feel grand. A centerpiece in the atrium was a large glass fireplace adds warmth to guests enjoying the public space. Our room was a large with a king sized bed, a large bathroom with a deep soaker tub. The bathroom is well lit with a bright pale white flourescent light. The bed in any hotel is our primary concern when travelling and the Sawridge completely exceeded our expecations with a bed that was in the class of beds that are often found only in 4* hotels. If you are looking for a comfortable night of rest, this hotel has the most comfortable beds of any of the 3* and 3.5* hotels in Edmonton that we have previously visited. In fact, I had not been sleeping well for several weeks and fighting insomnia as of late, and this was the first night that I had a truly great night of sleep. Check-in and check-out was completely painless. We did not use many services but the staff that we did encounter were courteous. And bonus that Wi-Fi Internet isfree. Location is not the nicest being in South Edmonth. Toiletries were a bit cheap.

  After finding that I needed a room close to downtown Edmonton for the end of January, I found nothing available. I talked to a friend so said this hotel had a free shuttle! It was awesome, they dropped me off and picked me whenever I needed. The driver's were great and always had a smile. The room was nice, clean and quiet and the restaurant is nice as well. An excellent buffet breakfast in the morning makes it convenient and fast. A great place to stay!
