This is a wonderful hotel/resort. The rooms are a little dated, but the grounds are immaculate, the staff was professional, helpful and very friendly, and we truly enjoyed our entire experience. Would definitely stay there again!

The resort is nothing like the pictures shown. The rooms were damp and older. The first room that I checked into had a front and back door and they did not have dead bolts on them. As a female traveler I always try to avoid the main level but here there are not second floors it is all ground level and I did not feel safe in the first room. I was also leary about the cleanliness and felt that it was unlike any pictures shown on the website. The second room I was moved to was better in the fact that it was one door in the room....but still no deadbolt on it. This room did have a drafty window in the bathroom. The windows were old aluminum windows very old and the lock did not work. This room also had a horrible damp smell. The towels were gray from being used thru the years. There were also wooden beams for the ceiling and there were cobwebs on them. Overall the room felt very inclean and unsanitary. Overall not a good experience. I wanted to get a refund on my money and go somewhere else the first night I checked in.

My wife and I were looking for a few quite days to spend in AZ and picked this resort. Weather was too cool to swim, but grounds were well groomed. Casita area was very quiet and large. Would have been nice to have a microwave, so we could heat food from nearby Trader Joe's, but frig was a nice touch. Coffee pot was single-cup only, which was inconvenient, but not a huge negative. Casita was always very clean. .Desk staff was excellent. Didn't use the restaurant as there are several nearby. A continental breakfast would be a nice addition.

We were very disappointed in the resort, especially for having a 3.5 star rating. The rooms were pretty old and outdated, bathroom tile coming loose, cabinets broken, switches that didn't work. The fitness facility is a gravel track around the perimeter of the property, the tennis court surfaces were broken and unplayable, and the nets were gone, the putting green hadn't been mowed in months, the pools and hot tubs were old and dirty. We only ate one breakfast at Moriah's resturant and the total for 4 adults was $*. The resort is close to many other activities, shopping, movies, etc. but none are within walking distance. On this trip we were looking for a resort that had attractions that we could stay on property for, this was not the place for that.
