I've have stayed in this hotel several times in the past couple of years. The room is always fabulous, and the location is very convenient to buses, the waterfront, and the local tour boats. As an added bonus, there are two grocery stores and a subway within a block's walk. Despite the distance from the airports, I like the area. A couple of things that can't be helped: 1) heroin addicts shooting their vice across the street, and *) the bus depot resides next door so there is lots of commotion early AM weekdays.

I searched and searched for what I hoped was the perfect place to stay, nice, clean, great location. I found it in the Sheraton at Fisherman's Wharf. It was easy to get to the bus line, rent bikes and of course the wharf and Pier 39. It was nicely appointed, clean and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend to a friend and would choose to stay there again.n Only complaints would be that it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room and the in room internet was too expensive and the free lobby internet was difficult (as they had to keep resetting it). Those definitely aren't biggies in my book.

The hotel rooms were small but very clean. The bathroom was small and the light shines right in the room. Bring a night light if you stay there. The staff friendly and helpful. There is only one small restaurant that serves a buffet breakfast which is pricey. There is a sitting area where one can buy snacks and refreshments during the day and evening. There are some more reasonable restaurants nearby where one can get good to excellent meals. The location is excellent.
