Our experience at this Holidy Inn was dissappointing. Beautiful lobby and restaurants. Rooms not so great. Cleanliness was not a priority for the hotel, one room actually had broken bed frames, using pvc pipe as it's support. Another, the curtains were falling down. The view from our room was a back parking lot, but the hills in the distance were lovely.Doors slamming at all hours of the night, hammers starting at 6 a.m. Pool looked very inviting, but windows faced the lobby, allowing everyone passing by a view of the participants. Food and dining staff in the Greenery was excellent, but breakfast was off the menu one day, buffet the next, brunch the third day, etc. Check-in staff did not offer information on the facility, simply checked us in and handed us a key-card. We were not told when we inquired at the desk about bringing family in for an evening meal that only the Sugarland restaurant would be open, and we expected to be eating at the Greenery. After allready inviting our family to a meal, it was too late to change plans and drive elsewhere to get food. The food was excellent, and the staff top notch, but the menu was limited, and prices were not family friendly. When we checked out on the fifth morning of our visit, we were not even asked how we enjoyed our stay. Next time I visit Sheridan, I will stay elsewhere, and perhaps return to the Greenery for a meal.

I work for a Airline company and stay in alot of holtels, out of all the them this one was a nice get away! I am not going to lie, My friends and myself had a blast there! Service was great, not only from check in but from there to the restraunt! Even the Night Security Officer, He was so helpfull and acomidating! Nothing bad to say about the hotel!

Although the staff was helpful and pleasant, and they deeply discounted my room rate due to problems, I wouldn't stay here again until they do some major renovations AND CLEANING. The bathtub had major mildew. After two attempts at deep cleaning, they decided they had to strip and replace the caulking around the tub, which meant I couldn't use it until Friday afternoon, but the smell of the caulking was so bad, I couldn't stay in the bathroom long enough to shower or soak in the tub until Saturday morning. Washing in the sink is no fun. Since this was a pleasure trip & I'd never been to Sheridan before, I asked for a room with some type of view. Guess I should have been a bit more specific. The "view" from my 5th floor window was a huge vent housing and a large Wal Mart-type store parking lot. Bed was very comfortable and food from both restaurants was ok.

While this hotel was not terrible, it was certainly not that great, especially considering what we paid for our room. When you enter the lobby, there's a nice waterfall, but the charm ends when you head to your room. The rooms are clean but in need of updating, and everything cost extra. Overall, we were gravely disappointed in a hotel that is supposed to be convention center quality.
