The hotel's walls were evidently very thin. I could hear a dog running in the room next to mine and the television on the other side of me. Fortunately, both rooms on each side of me did not stay up late, so it didn't bother my sleeping. Also, there were a few short black hairs on the blanket. Kind of gave me the creeps.

We were impressed with this hotel. It provided a cost effective room that was well maintained. If you want a new hotel then this hotel is not what you are looking for, but if you want a very well maintained and up to date room that has current carpet, and furniture, and a well thought out layout then you will appreciate this hotel. We spent the night with our two kids and found the room with two queen beds to be perfect. Not only was the room in perfect condition with plenty of room, it was also completely updated, very clean and smelled good/new. The room was was functional in every way (like a desk with a chair that fit it), and a microwave and frig. The pool, although not new, was also very well maintained and perfectly heated....the kids loved it. There is also a hot tub, steam room, shower, and sauna. I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again and would in fact look forward to the nights stay at the end of a long day. My only complaint is that there is no seating area for the continental breakfast. I'm pretty sure this is due to the fact that this hotel was built before continnetal breakfast eating areas were in vogue. They have added continental breakfasts, but have no lobby room for tabled seating.

I stayed here when Thompson Valley baseball was there for a tournement. I was a manager and we had to pay our own way so I need a low cost motel, This was like the 5 star motel of low cost motels. The people were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the food was good. I stay again in a heart beat!

We stayed for one night the end of May. We only needed a place to sleep for the night and it fit that purpose. Don't even know if they had continental bkfst/pool/weight room cause we didn't have time for any of that. The room was clean and had all we needed. I've seen WAY worse.

We stayed at this motel a year ago and it was ok, but it has taken a HUGE slide since then. The pool has been out of commission for four months with no date of when it'll be fixed. Not a good thing when the kids have been in the car all day. The AC in our room didn't work. Another strike against this place when it's 95 degrees in beautiful Casper. Outside access doors were missing their locks and our non-smoking room smelled like a musty casino as well. So if you haven't got the hint, just stay away from the Shilo Inn - Casper. The Best Western's pool is closed too, but the Ramada is great!!! Stay there!
