Good size rooms, clean, the fountain was beautiful, clean pool with a long schedule. The food for breakfast at the Mark was outstanding. It beats out any continental breakfast and most restaurants for that matter too.

don't let the nice photo of the fountain courtyard fool you. I didn't have time to book online and paid a ridonculous price of $* for one night. definitely not a good value and far short of the four-star quality advertised on their TV ads for the chain. much better hotels in the greater PDX area for the money I paid. Even at an internet price of $60/night, it would be too much. rooms are keyed the old fashioned way. my deadbolt was poorly installed and the doorjamb was splintering apart. lousy selection of TV channels. sad attempt at a "fitness center". trash had not been emptied from my room when I walked in. tiny pool. free wi-fi was the only redeeming amenity. friendly staff.

We stayed two nights in one room, left for a night, then returned for another night in a different room. First room was fine, second one was stuffy and smelled like it had been a smoking room in a previous life. Both rooms were clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. Rooms included a voucher for a modest breakfast, which could also be applied to any breakfast on the menu, in the adjoining restaurant. Breakfast service varied from quick to slow on different days. Unimpressive service at the front desk. On Saturday morning we inquired about getting one of their shuttles to transit station on Monday morning. Was told to let them know what time on Sunday eve when we checked back in. Sunday eve was told the shuttles only ran to the local hospitals, but could probably drop us off. Monday morning clerk was uncooperative and almost rude, but we still managed to get a ride driven by a nice and helpful shuttle driver. None of the three front desk clerks could be described as "professional". There is nice landscaping between the buildings, and our rooms were well away from the street and very quiet. The restaurant was comfortable and convenient, and much better than the typical continental or do-it-yourself affairs. We got the rooms for only $*/night, so I didn't expect much. They even added on the 3rd night at the same rate as my internet reservation for the first two nights. More knowledge and professionalism by the front desk staff would have made my impression much more positive.

I just stayed here for 3 nights last weekend. The room was nice but the curtains were a length , so that when the fan/ac was on it blocked the flow of air. I had to use a pillow to hold them back to get air circulating. Also, had the same experience as another reviewer, no maid service the second day. So, asked for it the third day and got it but my son had to go get towels from the desk the second night. Food good, but understaffed and one waiter ran everywhere...not conducive to relaxed mealtime. The airport shuttle they recommend was on time and reliable and nice.
