Attractive, spacious, comfortable room with lovely view. Really like that the kitchen/sitting area is seperate ( with it's own TV) from the sleeping area( w/ another TV...and one in the bathroom!) Had a quite good breakfast in the restaurant. All the staff were great..very helpful and nice. I would definately stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights in this very clean and beautiful hotel. We have a small dog and that is why we chose to stay here, also for how close to the beach it was. For a Hotel that allows pets and is located just off the beach it is extremely clean. We were very impressed by the room size. Would like to suggest to the hotel that they need more seating in the pool area, but otherwise very happy with our stay here and will think of definitly going back.

We reserved 2 rooms, one for us and one other couple. It seemed as though the attendant was bothered to check us in. The other couple in our party got to there room, and it smelled like cigarette smoke, so they called the front desk and asked if they could get a different room. When they went down stairs to get the new room key, they asked if they could get a King room, instead of the room with 2 queen beds. They were told that the hotel was completely booked and no rooms were available with a king bed. The other couple said to the same bothered attendant, have you looked in the parking lot? There were only a hand full of cars in the parking lot, so we know for a fact they weren't booked up. We have been going to this Shilo Inn for the past 4 years, and this will be the last time! Sorry I am self employed and I didn't see the customer service we should have received, especially during this economic time!

reasonable rate, room and stay
10/25/2009Went during the off season, so got a great rate, wasn't crowded. hotel was clean, staff was great, pool was warm and jacuzzi nice. not the fanciest of hotels, ...
went during the off season, so got a great rate, wasn't crowded. hotel was clean, staff was great, pool was WARM and jacuzzi nice. not the fanciest of hotels, could use a little updating but you're at the beach! plus they offered a pet friendly room, great all around family hotel.
