My husband and I stayed at this hotel Feb.24 to Feb 26. The woman at the front desk was so helpful. We got lost on our way to the hotel from the airport (CLT) and she guided the way. The only downside was that we were exhaused upon arrival and went to sleep by 9:15pm only to have the fire alarm go off at 9:30pm. We had to evacuate the hotel and wait for the all clear from the fire company. We found out that a young child had pulled the fire alarm. Our room was clean, breakfast was adaquate and our stay was pleasant. We would stay at this hotel again.

We are here right now and have been nothing but impressed with the cleanliness and style of this fun, contemporary hotel. The guest rooms do not look like the photos on thiswebsite as they are all brand spanking new...sleek, whimsical and contemporary. Spacious rooms with a sleeping area and separate setting area with a large sofa, mini-fridge and microwave...and everything is just immaculate. Friendly, helpful staff, good location . I was concerned when we arrived to see that the hotel was crawling with young lacrosse players and I feared we would be kept awake by noise but our room was very quiet and we did not hear any noise from the hallways.Beds were not the comfiest but not bad. Great value for the money. The previous reviews must have been before remodeling...nothing shabby here.

I hated this place . We had made reservation early that day but we didn't get the key. They took our credit card number and gave us a confimation number . We go back to the room at 10:30 and they have already given our room away.The clerk was disrepectful.She had to phone the General manager to see if we could get a discount on a room and him/her said ""No"". They gave us a room that didn't have any towels or air the tub was dirty and it smelled stinky. We got up the first thing that morning and left and went to a better hotel. Don't ever go there you get what you pay for. Kyna

This EconoLodge was in serious need of refurbishment of the rooms. The common areas were not too well kept, with the exception of the gardenias around the pool. The coffee at breakfast was like brown water, with no taste. There are, however, worse hotels in Lumberton.
