I have stayed here a number of times and find the hotel consistently clean and generally a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and most of them are quiet and reasonably equipped. The ice makers can be very loud (stay away) and some rooms get road noise but generally the rooms are quiet and reasonably equipped. The breakfast in the morning, however, leaves much to be desired. The staff often lets the food run out (even the coffee!). Hot food is allowed to be served or become cold and the quality, while acceptable, is barely so. The selection is sufficient, however, better than most in fact. If they were to concentrate there improvement efforts in energizing their staff to ensure the hot food is hot (i.e. safe) and isn't left to run out, it would help. I would recommend this hotel as a top 10 in the Aberdeen area.

Having to spend a week away from home alone is usually no one's favorite thing to do. At the Springhill Suites in Bel Air (that is really where this one is located) they make you feel as at home as possible. Each room is outfitted with either a King or two double beds. A sitting area that contains a desk, pull out love seat, upholstered chair, kitchenette with sink, microwave oven and small refridgerator. Complimentary high speed internet is available in all rooms.
My room was exceptionally clean. Bed linens are changed on an as requested basis.
This hotel is a former "smoking" hotel. My coworked complained that her room smelled musty and smoky (she was on the second floor, I was on the 3rd floor). She asked to have her room changed, and the front desk personnel cheerfully honored her request.
There is a small pool which I never saw occupied. The workout area was typical of a small hotel.
Complimentary continental breakfast was better than expected. Hot oatmeal, eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, muffins, pastry, fruit and a variety of breads for toasting. Hot coffee, milk, water and juices were also provided. For those in a rush, takeout boxes and bags were also available.
When we came back from a long day of working late, there was a nice plate of hot chocolate chip cookies sitting on the front desk...ahh what a great way to end a long day. -
