check in was smooth and staff very friendly. Upon entering the room,you were confronted immediately by cigarette smoke. Room was clean, but the stale smoke smell was over the top. We were two tired to fight the fight, and we were going to a ball game so would be home late, out early. We told front desk, they apologized, but did not rectify the situation. Morning Brunch was well done and I need to complement the staff, The place was packed on a Sunday Morning and the went beyond the call of duty, to keep foods fresh people moving, and working hard.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The motel had lovely decor- the blue hanging lights in the lobby were fantastic, and in my room were lovely linens and peaceful, up-to-date, modern decor. The rooms were very clean- which is a MUST for me. Also quiet and comfortable bed. I had several teenage boys with me who were attending a concert, and despite their "non-conformist" appearance (decked out in full concert-going garb), the staff treated them with politeness and good humor. The motel was within walking distance of the concert the boys went to at Neumos- on Pike Street. It was a nice walk through a funky, fun part of town. Breakfast was fantastic, everything from sausage and eggs to waffles- all you could eat, and hot and lots of it. Room had 2 nice beds, pullout couch, desk, fridge, microwave. The pool was nice although only open til 11, and the fitness room was ok, though nothing great- they never are. One drawback- I don't remember being told it was valet parking when I made the reservation- for $* per night, and I don't like 1. having other people having access to my car, and 2. not being able to just run out and get stuff out of it.

Very nice and contemporary hotel, staff was friendly, available ammenities made trip much more pleasant, the complimentary breakfast had a decent variety. Hotel was in a centralized location and had easy access to freeways. Overall stay was great. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed three days in March 2010. Room was very good, hotel staff was helpfull. Breakfast OK, repetitious with the same stuff everyday and the breakfast ladies are in a big hurry to get you out of there at closing time, even on Sunday. Health club across the street is very good, and only 10 steps from the front door. Exit to the hotel off I-5 was closed for reconstruction so the hotel was hard to get to. Area north of hotel, at night is a little rough, with winos hanging around. The REI building two blocks north, during the weekday was fun to go to. Downtown and Pike Place Market is a 12 block walk, but can easily be done in good weather. The hotel has a shuttle to the Westlake Center once an hour. The bar at night is a little pricey on drinks, as is the $20 daily parking fee. But parking in the Seattle Downtown is expensive everywhere, so safety inside and below the hotel is probably worth $20 a day.

We had a great stay, was quite and the staff was very friendly. Room was clean & comfortable. Had breadfast buffet which was good. Walking distance to everything and anything. We are going back in July for a wedding so we will be staying there agian the price was right.
