Great hotel. New-style rooms make the best use of available space. Bathroom placement with the slinding door was unique. Bathroom lighting, not so much. Front desk staff great, accomodating, and prompt. Breakfast good, staff especially helpful there. Directions to hotel need to be much better. I grew up in that town, visit often, but still could not find the place. Had to stop at a different hotel (Mariott property as well,) and they could not specifically direct me - "go left, cant' miss it- but did.

We stayed Thursday thru Monday. Every morning I awoke at around 530am. I was not sure why, until the final morning, when I realized there was a tapping noise every 2-3 seconds around that time, in the walls. Hubby seems to think it was the water pipes starting to work. I seem to think it was very annoying. Complimentary breakfast was very disappointing. It was ok for Friday morning, and Monday morning-with scrambled eggs, sausage, and other small items, but for Saturday/Sunday mornings, the main course was biscuits and gravy (from the old sausage served on Friday), it was not only disgusting, but it was also served two days in a row. So, really, we only received complimentary breakfast 2 out of 4 mornings. The rest of the food was stale bagels, and cheap bulk fruits. The swimming pool was very small and very highly concentrated with chlorine. I would only recommend using it if you're traveling with small children. The hotel room had only a shower-No bathtub. This made it very difficult for traveling with our 5 year old daughter. Also, the room arrangement was poorly designed. The bathroom door faced the foot of the bed, and had a sheer covering over it. It looked ok, but was difficult to go go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without the lights of the bathroom shining on the bed. The room had no nook to do things while the children sleep. It was, however, clean.

We liked this hotel. The Staff was excellent! We stayed 5 nights and on the 3rd night we had a wedding party next to us which kept us up for several hours. When we called to complain, someone was up immediately to solve the problem. The next day, we asked to be moved because the party would be back again that evening. They not only moved us to a quieter room, they upgraded us to the best room in the hotel. The staff was helpful, polite, pleasant and accommodated our needs! We would definitely stay here again! They were wonderful!

Stayed at this new place last weekend and my kids loved it. Very modern lobby and the rooms were fun. Great to have a refrigerator and microwave too. The breakfast was really good and we loved having the fresh fruit on vacation. Definitely will go back.

My husband & I celebrated our 9th anniversary in a Whirlpool Spa at the new hotel. Our mother-n-law gave us a gift certificate and told us it was just our style - and it was! We felt like we were in California, a true getaway from home! The front desk was so nice and fun too! The free shuttle brought us to Downtown Sioux Falls so we could go out to eat and walk around and enjoy the nice summer evening air. We called the hotel to be picked up a few hours later and they returned us to the hotel to enjoy their Romance Package in our Spa room. We woke up in the morning to the smell of breakfast down the hall and enjoyed that free too! We recommend this hotel for the couples who want to celebrate any special occassion for a night out in Sioux Falls.
