Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. Overall, a great hotel BUT the price is NOT in line with the service. The price is comparable to the Stein Erikson in Deer Valley, UT, but the service is more in line wih a good Marriott.

I barely have the words to describe how wonderful Stowe Mountain Lodge is. In the process of traveling to Vermont, I lost my wallet and any means I had of renting a car. I was resigned to the fact that I would just be able to travel to the hotel and nothing else. I called the concierge desk of the hotel to ask how to get transportation from the airport. While on the phone with Mike I revealed that I was not going to be able to rent a car and travel to the events that I had booked. Not only did he get a driver to come pick me up at the airport, but he arranged it so that I could have use of the hotel cars to get to where I needed to go. The rest of the staff was also very accommodating when it came to the fact that I had lost my credit cards. They did everything they could to work with me in the situation and we all ended up friends during my stay. While I wouldn't want to loose my credit cards again any time soon, I am grateful for having gotten the opportunity to know the staff at Stowe Mountain Lodge!

My husband and I just spent 5 days at the Stowe Mountain Lodge. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are fantastic. We really loved that the room had a very well appointed kitchenette, and the bathroom was large, with a luxurious tub and separate shower. It's a little outside of Stowe, but I enjoyed running the paths up the mountain behind the hotel. It's right at the base of the ski hill and adjacent to a beautiful golf course. We went in late September, and the pool was heated to perfection. The spa is also pretty though a bit expensive (but I got a manicure anyway, and it was worth it). Above all, the staff here are fantastic and they totally made the trip. Friendly, very very helpful, and full of local knowledge.

We stayed in a Ridgeline studio, and it was great. There is a couch and easy chair with ottoman, a fireplace, and a small kitchen. All the ammenities were very nice, including the fitness center. The staff was very friendly and anxious to please. The Solstice Restaurant was beautiful and the food good using many Vermont products. I would stay there again. Hopefully, next time, all the construction will be complete.
