This was a nice hotel for the cost. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Housekeeping did a very nice job tidying up everyday. It had a nice outdoor pool that was well-maintained and my kids really liked swimming after a day's worth of activities. This hotel is also very close to Mammoth Cave and other attractions. There are certainly nicer hotels to stay in, but you will certainly pay more.

On the way home from a long road trip, my husband and I planned to stop halfway in Kentucky and see Mammoth Cave. We wanted an affordable but clean place to stay the night near Mammoth Cave, and this Super 8 motel surprised our expectations. Our room was very clean, fairly updated, and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. The motel is conveniently located right off the Interstate, and we didn't have any problems with noise from traffic. We would definitely stay here again if we pass through the area on another trip.

The cleanliness of the motel room left a lot to be desired. There was a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor when we arrived, and it was still there three days later. There was a lot of hair on the walls of the shower which obviously had not been cleaned for some time.

The hotel staff was friendly, but the property was outdated. It would have been better to stay in Bowling Green at a lower priced, nicer property, and only a 15-20 minute drive to the different caverns. We paid for a three day stay upfront, but had to have our keycard reprogrammed THREE SEPARATE TIMES, even though the clerk's apology was accompanied with ""Ok, now it's programmed for the rest of your stay."" It's a pain to have climbed two stories with luggage and children and coolers and souvenirs, our hands full, only to realize the darned card wasn't programmed properly.

We went through Cave CIty on our way from Point A to Point B and just needed a safe, clean place to stay on the way. There was some confusion on the reservation, but the manager worked hard to make it right, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, breakfast was simple, but fresh and continually refreshed and restocked, staff was friendly and helpful, even making suggestions for what we might enjoy (or not enjoy) in the area. We were close to area attractions and dining, and it was quiet, even though the hotel was full. We'd stay there again.
