What happened to no smoking?
11/20/2008The front desk service was fine. however, over top of the desk reads a sign ""if you're smoking in here, you'd better be on fire."" then ...
The front desk service was fine. However, over top of the desk reads a sign ""if you're smoking in here, you'd better be on fire."" Then we get to our room and it REAKS of cigarette smoke and there was an ash tray in the bathroom. How disgusting. The lights outside are super bright and shine through the curtains ALL NIGHT LONG. And they used to have a waffle maker at breakfast but ""replaced it with gravy"" according to their employee. Since when is a replacement for waffles, GRAVY? I guess when in WV live like the West Virginians... I only recomment this hotel if you want cheap and close to town. If don't mind a short drive, stay in Barboursville. If you want nicer, but still affordable, stay down the hill at the Ramada, it's about $* more per night though.

08/16/2006The rooms were big and clean, access was directly off the interstate and near food. it would have been nice for all 5 rooms to be together instead of 4 ...
