  The Super 8 Downtown Lexington was a good basic place to sleep if you are just passing through. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. They even suggested that we park our Uhaul in front of the door so the staff could make sure it was secure. The rooms were clean, but basic. Good continental breakfast. Exterior appearance of the hotel was a little shabby and dated, but good value for someone just passing through.

  We booked 5 nights in this hotel and only stayed one sleepless night. The floors, carpets, and walls were filthy. There were insects everywhere. The sink and shower faucets were dripping. The light was broken. It was the most awful hotel experience of my life!
