The room smelt STRONGLY of disinfectant; I got a headache from the fumes and my clothes stank throughout all my business meetings the day after. Next time I will spend a bit more and stay in a more comfortable hotel. Shuttle service to/from the hotel is a plus. My shuttle from the hotel was very pleasant. However, my shuttle back to the airport was terrible. The shuttle driver did not load my bag (I had to do it myself), the van smelt strongly of curry and the driver talked loudly to her friend in the passenger seat the whole time so I couldn't talk at all.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and very clean and well maintained. Several restraunts within walking distance too. Right near the interstate for easy access. They have a wonderful shuttle from the airport. The beds could have been a little softer but all in all I enjoyed my stay there and would stay there again.

We stayed in June 2009. The front desk staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was clean and well maintained. We did have quite a bit of trouble with the key card, but the front desk was always willing to help. Not far from Church Hill Downs, approximately 1 3/4 miles. Don't try to walk it unless you're in good shape - mostly high hills to walk up and down. Not far from the hotel, about a 2 minute walk, is a bus stop where you can catch a bus to go downtown. Across the street is a great place to eat. I believe it's named All Star Cafe.

Nice hotel, but not great. Just minutes down the street from Churchill Downs. That is why we stayed there. Bathroom above us in second floor had leak, which leaked into our bathroom. Alot of kids hanging around outside, but this was on a saturday night and may have been there to go to Six Flags, also minutes away. Continental breakfast needs upgrading. Not bad though for $*.
