  My wife and I went to Frankenmuth on a weekend I had no idea was going to be so busy. They had the "Winterfest 2011" that weekend. I didn't think I would get a hotel that close and priced so reasonable. The hotel room was very comfortable and looked new. My wife had already booked another hotel that was $40.00 more and just across the street. Fortunately, we were able to cancel that reservation without incurring a charge. That night, it snowed 4", but the lot was cleared very quickly the next day. Everyone was very friendly.
